As with last year, we plan to run all 23 national events and any New York State trial events. This is contingent upon the number of registered teams, room availability, and the event specifications once released.
Our goal is to have 45 registered teams participate this upcoming year. For now, we will be limiting the number of teams to two per high school. The cost of the first team is $100 and the cost of a second team, if desired, is $80. We cannot accept purchase orders for the invitational, as this is a student-run organization. A check must be mailed with the invoice in order to permanently reserve your spot.
In order to attend, each team must commit to supervise one event, which includes writing (either the exam or the building event scoring guidelines), running, and grading your chosen event. All teams, regardless of region or state, are permitted to register for the invitational competition. The team, however, must be appropriately registered with their state organization in order to compete.

As the event is scheduled on a Saturday in December, we might be faced with inclement weather. We will attempt to run the invitational as long as it does not pose a threat to the safety of our schools in attendance. Due to the nature of organizing and purchasing materials for the competition, we unfortunately cannot offer refunds to schools should we be forced to cancel due to the weather. We will, however, distribute the event materials to all registered teams through a secure website so that your team will still hopefully benefit from a full set of event resources before your regional tournament.
